Merry Christmas Gus

A hilarious Christmas picture book, starring the wonderfully grumpy Gus! It's Christmastime, but Gus is not a fan. He doesn't like carols, or cake, or Christmas sweaters. And he certainly doesn't like mistletoe. For Gus, a tree is only good for one thing, and it's not for hanging baubles on! But can everyone's favourite grump learn to love the season of goodwill? Chris Chatterton began his career in graphic design and animation, working on a variety of projects including Dr Who and CBBC's The Dumping Ground. Chris' passion for illustration then led him to pursue a career as a freelance artist working on a number of children's books including Kindergarten Is Cool! as well as the Arnold and Louise and Dino Diggers series. Now writing the stories as well, Chris considers his Gus picture books - This is Gus and Merry Christmas Gus - to be semi-autobiographical as he claims his loveable grumpy dog character is based on his own grumpy moods! Originally from County Durham, England, Chris now lives and works in Newcastle upon Tyne, where he is also a Committee Member for the Society of Authors in the North.
